¾¨Ó㴫ý junior Samantha Story was awarded the prestigious Allen P. Splete Leadership and Service Award at the College’s 2023 Spring Honors Convocation held April 19.
Story, a junior marketing and professional sales major from Imperial, Pa., was awarded $500 for her campus leadership and volunteer efforts at ¾¨Ó㴫ý. The funds will be used to offset her tuition for the 2023-2024 academic year.
Story is a continuous leader in her major and serves as a student coordinator for the First-Year Orientation.
The Allen P. Splete Leadership and Service Award is awarded annually to a student who has provided sound leadership and selfless volunteerism to the curricular and co-curricular life on the ¾¨Ó㴫ý campus. The award is named in honor of Dr. Allen P. Splete, president of ¾¨Ó㴫ý from 1982-1985.
