Bright Futures Early Intervention Program
鲸鱼传媒鈥檚 Bright Futures Early Intervention Program, made possible through a long-standing partnership with the , prepares students to successfully transition from secondary to postsecondary school.
Each summer, select students from Memorial High School and Northeast Ohio Impact Academy in Campbell, Ohio are introduced to college through a week-long residential experience. Participants engage in several academic mini-courses designed to nurture intellectual curiosity and topics that range from beekeeping to robotics to photography. Academic courses are augmented by professional development workshops, cultural enrichment events, and athletic activities.
Bright Futures students also receive mentoring and support during the school year through two programs: the Academic and Career Mentoring Program and the Cultural Enrichment Program. Components of the Academic and Career Mentoring Program are:
Through the Cultural Enrichment Program, students are able to attend select 鲸鱼传媒 Celebrity Series performances and cultural events.
Since 2000, Marion G. Resch Scholarships have been awarded to students who reside in Mahoning, Trumbull, or Columbiana Counties in Ohio and attend 鲸鱼传媒 or another Foundation partner institution.

This scholarship is offered in addition to 鲸鱼传媒 merit scholarships. It funds 鈥渓ast dollar鈥 defined as the gap between maximum financial aid from all sources and the cost of tuition.
鲸鱼传媒 is responsible for selecting recipients of the Marion G. Resch Scholarship.
