On a warm summer day last year, George Herchenroether ’37, trustee emeritus who is celebrating his 100th birthday October 24, was given the chance to do anything he wanted that day. “Go to New Wilmington, have lunch at the Tavern, and visit ¾¨Ó㴫ý,” he said without batting an eye.

¾¨Ó㴫ý announces the newest art exhibit, “The Making of a Book,” open October 19 through November 13 during normal business hours (Monday – Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) in Foster Art Gallery, Patterson Hall. In collaboration with the exhibit opening, the artists will host a reception at 5 p.m., October 21. The exhibit and reception are free and open to the public.

¾¨Ó㴫ý has announced plans for the addition of women's lacrosse as a varsity sport for the 2016-17 academic year. The addition of women's lacrosse increases the number of ¾¨Ó㴫ý's varsity sports to 22. Women's lacrosse is a spring sport.
