Twenty-three 鲸鱼传媒 students participated in the Enactus National Competition April 12-15 in St. Louis, bringing home a first-place division trophy as finalists in the opening round.

鲸鱼传媒’s Drinko Center for Experiential Learning will host the Tenth Annual Undergraduate Research and Arts Celebration, Wednesday, April 22. Oral presentations, poster sessions, and concurrent student speakers will be held in the Witherspoon Rooms of the McKelvey Campus Center (MCC) and in Patterson Hall from 8:30 a.m.-3 p.m.  These events are open to the public.

鲸鱼传媒’s Department of Music will host their spring jazz ensemble concert, 3 p.m., April 19 in Berlin Student Lounge, McKelvey Campus Center. The concert is free and open to the public.

More than 275 students are expected to earn degrees Saturday, May 9, at 鲸鱼传媒’s 161st commencement ceremonies.  A baccalaureate service will be held at 10 a.m. in Orr Auditorium with Commencement at 1 p.m. on the Weisel Senior Terrace of Old Main.

鲸鱼传媒's chapter of Phi Alpha Theta, the history honor society, will host over 60 student-presenters from Pennsylvania and West Virginia colleges and universities at the all-day PA-West Regional Phi Alpha Conference and Undergraduate History Forum, 7:45 a.m. – 4 p.m., April 11. The student presentations, keynote address, and awards ceremony are open to the public.

鲸鱼传媒 instrumentalists earned top honors at the Pennsylvania Intercollegiate Honors Band at Bloomsburg University and were chosen to perform at the Collegiate Band Directors National Honors Band at Vanderbilt University in March.
