¾¨Ó㴫ý's Equestrian Team is riding high this year with five of 18 riders already qualified for Regionals.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Church Relations Office will host the second in a series of continuing education events Tuesday, Oct. 24 beginning at 8:30 a.m. in Russell Hall.
Two ¾¨Ó㴫ý students, James Chaney and Pamela McCalmont, led their groups in a caving experience in the West Virginia mountains.
"We left early Friday morning, and spent most of the afternoon traveling and making a few stops along the way," said McCalmont.Ìý "At one stop we climbed up a road cut and dug for fossils.Ìý We learned about them in class, but it is so much more fun to actually dig them up and examine them."

Dr. Matthew Sivils, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of English, will deliver the second in the ongoing series of Bleasby Colloquia Thursday, Nov. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater located in the McKelvey Campus Center.
Bachelor degrees were awarded to 230 students at the May 19 ¾¨Ó㴫ý commencement service.

¾¨Ó㴫ý will host renowned author Janisse Ray speaking on "Nature, Community and the Life We Dream" Thursday, March 6, at 7 p.m. in the Witherspoon Rooms of the McKelvey Campus Center.

Dr. Beverly Cushman, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of religion and Christian education, will speak on "National Endowment for the Humanities Summer Institute: Holy Land and Holy City in Classical Judaism, Christianity, and Islam" at Faires Faculty Forum Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 11:40 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater in the McKelvey Campus Center.
The 104th New Wilmington Mission Conference (NWMC) will be held at ¾¨Ó㴫ý July 18-24.

¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty Dr. Terri Lenox, associate professor of computer science and co-director of the Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning, and Dr. Sandra Webster, professor of psychology and faculty development officer, co-authored a presentation at the Association of American Colleges and Universities meeting March 25-27 in Philadelphia.
¾¨Ó㴫ý junior and senior elementary education majors conducted Family Math Night Nov. 4 at Wilmington Elementary School.
