¾¨Ó㴫ý to Host Local Artist Print Signing at 150th Birthday Bash

J.G. "Gib" McGill will be at the 150th ¾¨Ó㴫ý Birthday Bash celebration to sign his print, Glorious, Grand & True, 150 years, Monday, Jan. 21, from 1:30-3:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.

The print, a stunning winter scene of ¾¨Ó㴫ý's landmark Old Main, is for sale at the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Book Store.

Earth Week at the Field Station

A group plants seedlings in honor of Earth Day

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Earth Day and Earth Week were born 43 years ago, largely through the efforts of Gaylord Nelson, a U.S. Senator from Wisconsin.  ¾¨Ó㴫ý observed that day April 22, 1970, with a clean-up of trash from Brittain Lake.  This year the Field Station continued the Earth Week tradition for college students, community adults and children.
