Dr. James Perkins, professor of English at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, will present Faculty Forum Wednesday, Nov. 5, at 11:30 a.m. in the McKelvey Campus Center Theater.
Members of the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Chorale and the Community Chorale have combined to present the "Holocaust Cantata" Sunday, April 8, at 3 p.m. at the Wallace Memorial Chapel.
Four Distinguished Alumni Lecturers, Dr. Karen McFadden Coy, Dr. Judson C. McConnell, Dr. Donald J. Mitchell, and Lois Clark Ramey, will speak to various student groups on campus during homecoming week.

Dr. Valerie Gilchrist, chair of the Department of Family Medicine at the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University, will speak about "Images of Women: A View from Medicine" Monday, March 26, at 4:30 p.m. in the McKelvey Campus Center Mueller Theater.


The fall choral concert of the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Women's Chorus and Men's Chorus is scheduled for Friday, Nov. 16, at 7:30 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.
¾¨Ó㴫ý is set to welcome a record 460 new students to campus with orientation activities Friday.
Four ¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty will present "Teachers' Academy: 'I Can Not Confirm Coffee and Bagels, Yet'" at Faires Faculty Forum Wednesday, March 25, at 11:40 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater in the McKelvey Campus Center.

The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Chemistry Club earned an honorable mention from the American Chemical Society (ACS) 2008-2009 Student Chapter Awards.
"Full Moon Spectacular" will be presented Saturday, Sept. 25, in the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Planetarium, room 116 of the Hoyt Science Resources Center.
