Joseph Gill, 2003 ¾¨Ó㴫ý graduate, will speak at the Alpha Phi Omega conference in Toledo, Ohio, Oct. 24-26.
Avis Devine, a business administration, financial economics and music major at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, will give her senior piano recital Saturday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning is hosting a seminar, "A New Sheriff in Town: New Financial Obligations for School Districts Under Special Session Act 1," Monday, Aug. 14, from 8-11:30 a.m. in the McKelvey Campus Center.





"We'll always have Paris." Those were the sentiments of 14 ¾¨Ó㴫ý students who recently spent two weeks in France applying what they had learned in the classroom.


¾¨Ó㴫ý sociology professors Dr. Phyllis Kitzerow and Dr. Virginia Tomlinson's joint research, "New Diversity and Persistent Inequality: Gender Issues in the Legal Profession," will be presented at the Faculty Forum Wednesday, March 28, at 11:40 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater of the McKelvey Campus Center.


Opera ¾¨Ó㴫ý performed at Independent College and University Day held Oct. 16 at the Pennsylvania State Capitol. ¾¨Ó㴫ý was recognized for its contribution to the arts.
¾¨Ó㴫ý announces several personal enrichment and leisure courses for community residents. Continuing Education classes and seminars are non-credit and are open to all interested individuals. Formal admission to ¾¨Ó㴫ý is not required.
¾¨Ó㴫ý music faculty performed Rhapsody, a composition for violin, clarinet, and piano written by Dr. Daniel Perttu, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of music, at the College Music Society Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference March 20 at George Mason University in Fairfax, Va.
Nearly 380 ¾¨Ó㴫ý students earned Dean's List recognition for the 2009 fall semester.
The Jake Erhardt International Film Series will show the Swedish film Män som hatar kvinnor (The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo) Tuesday, Sept. 28, at 7 p.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater in the McKelvey Campus Center.
