Six ¾¨Ó㴫ý students have received grants to further their undergraduate research from the Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
Nine ¾¨Ó㴫ý chemistry and biochemistry majors received summer research positions funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning will host "The Paradoxical Commandments: Keys to Servant Learning" seminar Monday, March 17, beginning at 9 a.m. in the McKelvey Campus Center.

Prism, a composition for solo flute written by Dr. Daniel Perttu, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of music, will be performed Oct. 31 at the Society of Composers' Region VIII conference at California State University, Stanislaus, in Turlock, Calif.

Andrew Davic, a 2009 ¾¨Ó㴫ý graduate, received one of 30 College Chemistry Awards from the Society of Analytical Chemists of Pittsburgh (SACP) at its May 11 meeting.

Theatre ¾¨Ó㴫ý will host "Two on Tap: A Tribute to Song and Dance," a benefit for ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Theatre Department, Wednesday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Celebrity Series will welcome five-time platinum-selling pianist and songwriter Jim Brickman for a sold-out performance Tuesday, Nov. 30, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The show is sponsored by Giant Eagle.
¾¨Ó㴫ý raised more than $5.2 million during the past fiscal year (July 1 - June 30), a 25% increase over the previous year.

¾¨Ó㴫ý's Audio Visual Services will host its sixth biannual e-recycling drive Saturday, April 21, from 9 a.m.-noon at the Hoyt Science Resources Center loading dock.
