Hope Wilson ’22
English major • Secondary education minor
New Kensington, Pennsylvania
When Hope Wilson ’22 enrolled at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, she wanted to immerse herself in all that college had to offer. She held true to those plans, and today she is one of the most recognized faces on campus. A natural student leader, Hope serves as president of the Black Student Union, a resident assistant, a Titan admissions guide and a Peer Success coach—and she believes every opportunity she’s been given has helped her grow as a student leader, an academic and a professional. Originally from New Kensington, Pennsylvania, the English major and secondary education minor has dreams of sharing her knowledge with the next generation. Through teaching, specifically in inner-city schools, she hopes to instill an appreciation for learning and a sense of purpose. “I want to show young kids that they have a purpose—and I want to be a Black role model to them.”
