The ¾¨Ó㴫ý School of Music will present its spring woodwind studio recital at 3 p.m., Saturday, April 30, in the Will W. Orr Auditorium on ¾¨Ó㴫ý's campus.
Accompanied by Dr. Hanna Chung, a member of ¾¨Ó㴫ý’s music faculty, the small woodwind ensembles will perform pieces such as George Handel’s Sonata in C Minor, Johannes Brahms' Clarinet Sonata in F Minor and Ludwig van Beethoven’s Trio, op. 87.
The recital will also feature the newest addition to the School of Music, the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Recorder Ensemble. Making their debut, the ensemble will play Drunken Sailor, a classic tune by The Irish Rovers.
The recital is free and open to the public.
