¾¨Ó㴫ý Dance Theatre will present its annual spring showcase themed “Footloose” at 7 p.m. March 24-25, in Orr Auditorium located on the College’s campus. Auditorium doors open at 6:45 p.m.
This year’s showcase features 13 dances including performances from the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Dance Team that performs at home basketball games.
Choreographers include first-years Jessica Veon of Cranberry Township, Pa.; Catherine Clark of Allison Park, Pa.; Marisa Saad of New Castle, Pa.; and Monica Curtis of Harborcreek, Pa.; sophomores Zoe Burkett of Rices Landing, Pa.; and Bahiyyah Richards of Philidelphia, Pa.; junior Colleen Dreyer of Butler, Pa.; and seniors Abigayle Hvizdak of Aliquippa, Pa.; and Katie Henningsen of Wexford, Pa.
Dance Theatre, in its 45th year, is a student organization that is open to dancers of all skill levels interested in dance and movement. Classes are held every Wednesday from 8-9 p.m. in the dance studio located on Old 77.
This event is open to the public. Ticket sales will be held at the door and are $5 for adults, $3 for ¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty/staff, $1 for ¾¨Ó㴫ý students with ID and free for ages 12 and under.
