The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Planetarium will feature “The Christmas Star,” a show about the Star of Bethlehem, at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 29, and Friday, Dec. 8, in Hoyt Science Center on the ¾¨Ó㴫ý campus.
The show will explore the appearance of the Star of Bethlehem as described in the Bible. There will be discussions on common modern-day misconceptions and whether the star is an exploding star, a comet or some other natural event in the sky.
Recommended for grades three and up, “The Christmas Star” is free and open to the public, although reservations are requested due to limited seating. Please register for the Nov. 29 event , and the Dec. 8 event .
