High school students interested in studying music are invited to attend ¾¨Ó㴫ý Music Major for the Day events on Monday, Oct. 7, and Tuesday, Oct. 8.
The events hosted by ¾¨Ó㴫ý School of Music will give participants the chance to take a view life at ¾¨Ó㴫ý as a music major. Students will have the opportunity to shadow a ¾¨Ó㴫ý student, sit in on classes, meet faculty and play or sing in ensemble rehearsals.
Each day will have a specific focus of interest. On Monday, Oct. 7, events will focus on woodwinds, brass and percussion. The Tuesday, Oct. 8, event will center on vocal, strings and piano.
This event is free and lunch will be provided to all attending.
