The exhibition highlights a wide variety of artistic mediums, including photography, painting, mixed media, sculpture, creative writing and digital art.
Artwork is displayed in 16 locations throughout the borough and on campus, inviting visitors to take a self-guided walking tour that celebrates the intersection of art, environment and community. An interactive map of display locations is available , and a complete online program with artwork listings and descriptions can be accessed .
Award winners—sponsored by Bebe’s Shop, Gilliland’s Market, Pizza Joe’s and Pulse Coffee Company—will be announced in early December.
The Environmental Art in the Community exhibition is a collaborative project among ¾¨Ó㴫ý, Wilmington Area School District and 15 local businesses where the artwork is displayed. The event is part of the Beyond the Quad Art Series, which aims to connect students and the community through the arts.
