Alpha Phi Omega, a national coed service fraternity at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, is sponsoring a "Valentines for Veterans of War" party Monday, Feb. 11, at 7 p.m. in Hillside Lobby.

"Paper, markers, glitter, glue, scissors&everything you need to make a Valentine will be available to make Valentines," said Lauren Perkins, sophomore elementary education major from Evans City and publicity chair for Alpha Phi Omega.Ìý "Then we will deliver them to a local veterans hospital."

Alpha Phi Omega is open to all students who complete a minimum requirement of 12 hours of service each term.

"We are growing every year at ¾¨Ó㴫ý," continued Perkins.Ìý "We have 15 potential new members this year."

Other service projects continue throughout the year.Ìý Alpha Phi Omega sponsorÌý a "Quadathon" and "Canoe-a-Thon" each year to earn money for charities, and help at the Bair Foundation with the annual children's Christmas party.
