The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Coffeehouse series continues with "Korea: From Hermit Kingdom to Nuclear Player" Thursday, Nov. 16, at 4:15 p.m. in the Berlin Student Lounge located in the McKelvey Campus Center.
"Come hear about Korea from South Korean students and ¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty," said Dr. Sherri Pataki, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of psychology. "Attendees will learn about South and North Korea, which made recent international news with its testing of a nuclear bomb."
The guest speakers include Hyun-Ji Eum, an exchange student from Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea; Woosub Lee, an exchange student from Ajou University in South Korea; Dr. Kang-Yup Na, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of religion who was born and raised in Korea until he was ten; and Dr. James Perkins, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professor of English who was a Fulbright Scholar at Seoul National University in Korea.
