Twenty-two ¾¨Ó㴫ý seniors will give their psychology capstone presentations Thursday, Dec. 14, at 6 p.m. in Hoyt Science Resources Center rooms 150, 152, 165, and 166.
"The senior capstone is a two-semester project that culminates in students designing, conducting, and reporting research that relates to their interests in psychology," said Dr. Jamie McMinn, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of psychology. "At the end of their time in capstone, students will have a set of research and critical thinking skills that will prepare them well for graduate or professional work."
The final component of Liberal Studies at ¾¨Ó㴫ý is a senior capstone course, which is at least a four-semester-hour course within the major designed to provide an opportunity for students to evaluate and assess the strengths and limitations of their major field.
