The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Chamber Orchestra will present the second concert in its Classical Series Sunday, March 2, at 3 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
Under the direction of Jonathan Moser, ¾¨Ó㴫ý instructor of music, the program will include the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Student Woodwind Quintet, Student Brass Quintet, and Student Horn Ensemble.
Mary Moser, ¾¨Ó㴫ý adjunct faculty in music, will be guest soloist on violin and will be featured with Mr. Moser in "Double Violin Concerto in D minor" by Johann Sebastian Bach.
Other selections for the program include Bach's "Brandenburg Concerto No. 4;" "Concerto Grosso in D min, Op. 2 no. 5" by Francesco Geminiani; "Sextet for Horns" by Gregory Kerkorian; and "Symphony No. 3, Opus 55" by Ludwig van Beethoven.
