Thirty-three ¾¨Ó㴫ý students were recently selected for membership in Mortar Board, an honor society that recognizes seniors with leadership, scholarship, and service skills.
Mortar Board was chartered on ¾¨Ó㴫ý's campus in 1955. Membership criteria include a grade requirement and previous college leadership experience.
New members will be recognized at the Spring Honors Convocation to be held Saturday, April 19, at 11 a.m. in Orr Auditorium.
An induction ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, April 20, at noon in Wallace Memorial Chapel. Dr. Warren Hickman, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professor of mathematics, will be the featured speaker.
