Seven ¾¨Ó㴫ý students will study at off-campus locations ranging from Pittsburgh and Washington, D.C., to France, Spain, Argentina, and Africa for the spring 2009 semester.
Zakhoury Adams, a sophomore media art major, is a son of Ronald and Sharon Adams of Allentown and a graduate of Louis E. Dieruff High School. He will study at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Emilie Drylie, a senior elementary education and intercultural studies major, is a daughter of Robert and Deanna Drylie of Oakmont and a graduate of Riverview High School. She will study at Dickinson in Yaounde Cameroon, Africa.
Ashley Helmick, a junior media art major, is a daughter of Derek and Eva Helmick of Hubbard, Ohio, and a graduate of Hubbard High School. She will study at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.
Carin Hill, a junior public relations major, is a daughter of Karin Hill of North East and a graduate of North East High School. She will study at American University in Washington, D.C.
Rachel Hudson, a junior Spanish major, is a daughter of David and Susan Hudson of Charlotte, N.C., and a graduate of Pinecrest High School. She will study at Universidad Torcuato Di Tella in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
Holly Penco, a sophomore international business major, is a daughter of Gregory and Donna Penco of Erie and a graduate of McDowell High School. She will study at the University of Salamanca and at Menendez Pelayo in Sevilla, Spain.
Kiel Wolf, a senior international politics major, is a son of Thomas and Eugenie Wolf of Corry and a graduate of Corry Area High School. He will study at CEA Global Campus in Paris, France.
The study-abroad program has been a strong part of ¾¨Ó㴫ý for decades. ¾¨Ó㴫ý is part of a student exchange program with over 100 schools, allowing ¾¨Ó㴫ý students to travel all over the world and receive the same rates and financial aid as if they were still at ¾¨Ó㴫ý.
