The ¾¨Ó㴫ý chapter of Habitat for Humanity will sponsor a benefit concert featuring The Chris Higbee Project Saturday, Nov. 22, at 8:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
Higbee, founder and fiddler of The Povertyneck Hillbillies, has now formed The Chris Higbee Project, a band that blends the talents of several diverse musicians. For a number of years, Higbee has involved himself in benefits to support charitable work.
The proceeds from the ¾¨Ó㴫ý concert will support the campus chapter's spring break work trip to Biloxi, Miss. Tickets are $10 for ¾¨Ó㴫ý students with ID, $20 for general admission, and $30 for reserved seats. Call the Celebrity Series box office at (724) 946-7354 for tickets.
"Doors," a nationally touring Habitat photo exhibit, will be on display in the Art Gallery adjacent to Orr Auditorium for viewing. The gallery will open at 6:30 p.m.
