Eighteen ¾¨Ó㴫ý students participated in the American Model United Nations International Conference Nov. 22-25 in Chicago.
Their participation was funded in part by grants from ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
They were accompanied by Dr. Michael Aleprete, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of political science.
Dr. Terri Lenox, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of computer science and co-director of the Drinko Center, said, "The Undergraduate Research Initiative provides funding for students to participate in regional and national conferences."
All grant recipients have the opportunity to participate in ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Undergraduate Research Symposium in April.
