Senior to Present Violin Recital Nov. 20

Sara Zebley, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý music education major, will present her senior violin recital Saturday, Nov. 20, at 1 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The program is free and open to the public.

Selections include Copland's "Hoedown" from Rodeo; "Concerto in A minor" by Accolay; Vivaldi's "Concerto in A minor;" Mozart's "Concerto in G Major;" and "Limerock," a fiddle tune by Matt Brown.

Zebley is from the string studio of Melinda Perttu, ¾¨Ó㴫ý adjunct music faculty. She will be accompanied by ¾¨Ó㴫ý adjunct music faculty Jeff Wachter, Perry Gatch, Jeff Bremer, and Mark Antonich.

At ¾¨Ó㴫ý, Zebley is active in the Pennsylvania Collegiate Music Educators Association and the music intern teaching program, giving private music lessons. She is also lead guitar/fiddle player and back-up vocalist for Girlz in Black Hats, a local country band that released its debut CD in August.

Zebley is a daughter of Ray and Janice Zebley of Dawson and a graduate of Frazier High School.
