NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - ¾¨Ó㴫ý will host a Service of Remembrance in honor of the late Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Sunday, Jan. 20, at 7 p.m. in the Wallace Memorial Chapel. The service is open to the public.
Guest speaker will be the Rev. Patrice L. Fowler-Searcy, director of Mission Ministry at East Liberty Presbyterian Church in Pittsburgh. Fowler-Searcy received her undergraduate degree in psychology from Purdue University and is working towards a Master of Divinity at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.
Music will be provided by the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Chamber Singers under the direction of Dr. Robin Lind, associate professor of music and director of choral activities.
¾¨Ó㴫ý staff participating in the service include: the Rev. James Mohr, ¾¨Ó㴫ý chaplain; the Rev. Jeannette Hubbard, ¾¨Ó㴫ý director of diversity services; and Kathryn Davison Miller, ¾¨Ó㴫ý organist.
The Thiel College Soldiers for God Mime and Dance Group will also be participating in the service.
