NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Opera ¾¨Ó㴫ý will present "Amore e Morte" Saturday, April 6, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The program is free and open to the public.
ÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌýÌý
¾¨Ó㴫ý students will perform scenes on love and death from The Magic Flute, Don Giovanni, Un Ballo in Maschera, La Traviata, Orfeo ed Euridice, Carmen, Samson, and La Boheme.
¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty and staff assisting in the production are: Dr. Larry Miller, associate professor of chemistry, and Dr. Jesse Mann, vice president and dean of academic affairs.
The event is coordinated by stage director Dr. Anne Hagan Bentz, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of music, and orchestra conductor Mihai Vilcu, ¾¨Ó㴫ý adjunct music faculty. ¾¨Ó㴫ý adjunct music faculty Marie Libal-Smith, adjunct music faculty, is the pianist. An orchestra of ¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty, students, and guest musicians will provide instrumental support.
