Dr. Robert Zorn, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý alumnus and director of its graduate school, has published ¾¨Ó㴫ý through Time.
Using archival photos and information culled from college records, this photo journal helps capture some of the unique story that is ¾¨Ó㴫ý, one of the country’s leading small private liberal arts colleges.
“Then” and “now” photos side by side show how the buildings, sports, activities and community have evolved over the decades from the College’s 1852 founding to the present day.
Zorn’s ¾¨Ó㴫ý ties extend to his family. Grandsons Tyler Kelley ’10 and Sam Becherer ’12 are graduates and Nathan Kelley is the residence director in Eichenauer Hall. Granddaughter Kate Becherer is a junior early childhood/special education major and granddaughter Leigh Kelley was Zorn’s research assistant for the book.
Prior to his position as director of ¾¨Ó㴫ý’s Graduate School, Zorn was a department coordinator and adjunct faculty member. Concurrently, he held administrative positions in several public schools in the area.
At Zorn’s request all proceeds from the sale of the book will go directly to the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Alumni Association.
