Three ¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty presented at the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) convention held recently in Las Vegas.
Dr. Keith Corso, assistant professor of communication studies, and Bradley Weaver, broadcast and digital communications lecturer, and 10 other vetted faculty presented at the BEA Ignite panel showcasing enterprising teaching. This panel is peer-reviewed and highly competitive: the 12 panelists were selected from among hundreds of applicants from across the U.S.
Corso and Weaver chaired other panels at the convention, including one for which Andrew Schwanbeck, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of media art + design, showcased a recent cluster course project geared to service-learning and digital media.
Corso, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý graduate who joined the faculty in 2004, earned a master’s degree from the University of Akron and Ph.D. from Cappella University.
Weaver, who has been with ¾¨Ó㴫ý since 2000, earned an undergraduate degree from Alderson-Broaddus College and master’s degree from the University of Kansas.
Schwanbeck, who joined the faculty in 2013, earned an undergraduate degree from the University of the Arts and master’s degree from Kent State University.
