¾¨Ó㴫ý will remember and recognize prisoners of war (POW) and those missing in action (MIA) during the national POW/MIA Recognition Day. A gathering will take place at 5:30 p.m., Friday, September 18 at the flag pole on ¾¨Ó㴫ý’s Quad. The event is open to the public.
During the gathering, ¾¨Ó㴫ý will raise the POW/MIA flag, where it will live permanently below the American flag.
Members of American Legion Post 728 in New Wilmington, including Matthew Hosie ’49, post commander, and members of the American Legion Riders Post 220 Grove City, Pa., including Mike Cosgrove, unit supervisor of the Physical Plant at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, will be in attendance.
