Well over 400 people gathered at ¾¨Ó㴫ý’s Professional Networking Symposium on Saturday, April 1, 2017. Alumni and friends of the college, across disciplines, were invited to share professional advice and network with current ¾¨Ó㴫ý students. In panels led by alumni and friends of the college, members of the ¾¨Ó㴫ý community engaged in various breakout sessions and other networking opportunities.
Dr. Charlene Klassen Endrizzi, professor of Education, coordinated a breakout session for ¾¨Ó㴫ý preservice teachers led by adjunct faculty in the Reading Specialist graduate program and recent graduates of the ¾¨Ó㴫ý Graduate School.
Graduate adjunct faculty presenters included Karen Matis, Laura Nych and Diane O'Donovan, all graduates of ¾¨Ó㴫ý Graduate School. Recent graduates Alex Taylor Schroder and Katie Tomko Williams also joined the panel to share their graduate school journey at ¾¨Ó㴫ý.
Former Board of Trustees member Barbara Guffey, attorney Angelo Papa and Brian Wolfe, director of Resch Foundation, were in attendance and offered their insights to future teachers.
