Alum Molly Somora ’18 joins Erie News Now staff

Broadcasting and media production alumna Molly Somora ’18 recently joined  as a multimedia journalist.

Somora began working with the duopoly of WICU and WSEE (NBC and CBS affiliates) in northwestern Pennsylvania in January 2019.

During Somora’s time at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, she served as an executive producer, anchor and reporter of the college’s television show WCN 24/7. Additionally, she had the opportunity to intern with WFMJ-TV in Youngstown.

Somora graduated from ¾¨Ó㴫ý in December 2018 after majoring in broadcasting and media production and minoring in social media to complete her undergraduate degree.

Somora is the daughter of John and Margaret Somora and a graduate of Grove City Area High School.
