NEW WILMINGTON — High school students interested in becoming teachers are invited to attend ¾¨Ó㴫ý’s School of Education Visit Day on Friday, March 22.
Check-in will begin at 9 a.m. in the McKelvey Campus Center. After opening remarks, prospective students interested in becoming elementary or secondary teachers will attend panel sessions featuring faculty from ¾¨Ó㴫ý’s School of Education. The day will wrap with a complimentary lunch and an optional tour of ¾¨Ó㴫ý’s campus led by School of Education students.
¾¨Ó㴫ý’s education department prepares students to teach in pre-kindergarten through fourth grade classrooms or in high school. The program offers multiple opportunities to interact with preschool and/or kindergarten-12th grade students during the course of study.

The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Admissions Office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday-Friday and from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays during the academic year (September through May 12). Appointments for weekdays may be made beginning at 8:30 a.m. and ending at 3 p.m.
