NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – College Broadcasters Inc. (CBI) named ¾¨Ó㴫ý Titan Radio and WCN students national finalists for the for Best Podcast.
The nomination features the May 2019 edition of the podcast. The episode previews the College’s upcoming Mock Convention, profiles a senior comedian and bodybuilder, visits a ¾¨Ó㴫ý graduate now working at WFMJ-21 News and talks Titan baseball and football.
Mother Fair is a regularly produced podcast focused on telling the stories of ¾¨Ó㴫ý’s students, alumni, coaches, faculty and community. The program is produced by the student producers, hosts and reporters working the newsroom of Titan Radio, ¾¨Ó㴫ý Cable, The Holcad and wcn247.com.
Samuel Craig ’21 and Jaclyn Bleggi ’20 produced this edition of the podcast. Katarina Braun ’19 and Goldieann McElwain ’21 hosted with additional production and writing support from Hayley McGuigan ’21, Sydney Roach ’21 and Rachael Angermeier ’20. Reporters included Jack Karson ’22, Ian Ross ’20, Walter Eugene ’20, Nikya Beckwith ’22 and Garvey Biggers ’22.
CBI award winners will be announced at the 2019 National Student Electronic Media Convention on Oct. 31-Nov. 2 in St. Louis.
