NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – College Broadcasters, Inc. (CBI) named sophomore broadcasting and media production major Jack Karson a national finalist for the (Audio).
The nomination features Karson’s "Profile of a TV News Chief Photographer" podcast. The segment visits a ¾¨Ó㴫ý graduate now working at WFMJ-21 News to learn how social media and the internet have changed the jobs of news managers.
The story is featured in , WCN’s regularly produced podcast focused on telling the stories of ¾¨Ó㴫ý’s students, alumni, coaches/faculty and community. The May 2019 edition of the Mother Fair podcast is a CBI finalist for Best Podcast.
CBI award winners will be announced at the 2019 National Student Electronic Media Convention Oct. 31-Nov. 2 in St. Louis.
