鲸鱼传媒 gratefully accepts stock transfers as a way for alumni and friends to support the College鈥檚 mission.

1. Advise your broker that you wish to electronically transfer shares from your portfolio to the 鲸鱼传媒 account.


2. Contact Jessica Gill at 724.946.6995 or gilljm@westminster.edu, to notify 鲸鱼传媒 of the impending stock transfer. Please include the name of the stock you will be transferring, the number of shares as well as the gift designation. It is very important to us that we appropriately acknowledge the generosity of our donors in a timely and accurate manner.


3. Please provide the following information to your broker in order to transfer the shares to the College鈥檚 account:

   Charles Schwab & Co.
   DTC: 0164
   Account: 9195-2978

   Note: when transferring stock via a broker鈥檚 website or in paperwork, please remember to check the box that says, 鈥淩elease my information鈥� so that the broker can share the gift details with the College.

In accordance with IRS regulations, 鲸鱼传媒 values a gift of securities based on the mean value of the securities on the date they are received into the College鈥檚 account. We will promptly send you a receipt stating the number of shares and the date on which they are officially received.
