High school students are invited to submit original writing pieces for the Department of English’s annual Creative Writing Contest. Winners will have a chance to participate in a college workshop, give a public reading and receive an award on ¾¨Ó㴫ý’s campus for their storytelling. The deadline is Wednesday, Oct. 1.

Ceòl na Teud, ¾¨Ó㴫ý’s traditional Scottish music ensemble along with the Jazz Ensemble and several small brass ensembles will perform at 6 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 25 at the Admiral Robert Shumaker Park Amphitheater in New Wilmington, Pa. The fall concert is under the direction of ¾¨Ó㴫ý School of Music faculty members, Dr. Melinda Crawford Perttu and Dr. JaKobe Henry.
