Members of the Alpha Gamma Delta sorority are sponsoring a "Kiss a Senior Goodbye" to benefit the family of a child recently diagnosed with cancer.
Cards are placed outside the cafeteria and grill area for all students, faculty, and staff to purchase and place a message for their favorite senior. Cost is $.50 for one Hershey's kiss or $2 for five Hershey kisses. The sale continues through May 6.

¾¨Ó㴫ý will host an old-fashioned Independence Day celebration with a free concert and fireworks Tuesday, July 3, at 7:30 p.m. at Brittain Lake.
¾¨Ó㴫ý Chapel Drama will present "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown" Sunday, March 9, at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
Two teams of ¾¨Ó㴫ý students participated in the 2008 ACM East Central North America Programming Contest Oct. 31-Nov. 1 at Youngstown State University.

Valediction, a composition for solo violin written by Dr. Daniel Perttu, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of music, was performed at the College Music Society (CMS) international conference July 2 in Zagreb, Croatia.

Dr. Bryan Rennie, Vira I. Heinz professor and chair of ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Department of Religion, History, Philosophy and Classics, presented lectures on Mircea Eliade March 31 at Lehigh University and April 1 at Lafayette College.

Dr. Colleen Burke, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of communication studies, was elected vice president of the Pennsylvania Communication Association for 2010-2011.


Dr. Keith Corso, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of speech communication, and Bradley Weaver, ¾¨Ó㴫ý broadcast communications lecturer, attended the Social Media Marketing Conference July 13 in Pittsburgh.



The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Preschool Lab will celebrate Week of the Young Child through April 28 with a variety of activities to honor young children and those who make a difference in children's lives.
