Classes are finished, finals are in, and now is the time for the May 13-20 ¾¨Ó㴫ý Senior Week Celebration.
Activities include a number of special meals and social opportunities along with trips to Cedar Point and a Pittsburgh Pirates baseball game. The week concludes with commencement Saturday, May 20.

Zata Tau Alpha, one of the five national sororities at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, is sponsoring a "Shoot for a Cure" basketball tournament Sunday, Nov. 4, at 11 a.m. in Old 77 gymnasium.
¾¨Ó㴫ý will host The National Shakespeare production of Hamlet at 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Sept. 26 and 27, in Beeghly Theater.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Jazz Ensemble will perform a concert Saturday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. at the Anderson Amphitheater, located next to Brittain Lake.
"We will perform a wide variety of jazz music, including big band, combos, and even a vocal number," said R. Tad Greig, director of bands at ¾¨Ó㴫ý. "The concert will have numbers by Woody Herman, Pat Metheny, Duke Ellington, Gene Thorn, and more."
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Concert Choir and Chamber Singers will present a fall concert Sunday, Nov. 19, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.

Dr. Elizabeth Harrison, assistant professor of theory and organ at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, played a concert on the historic Arp Schnitger organ in Cappel, Germany, last month. She was the only American invited to participate in the Cappel concert series this year.
Rennie Greenfield, a student in ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Lifelong Learning Program, received a grant from the Heinz Collaborative Research Fund to present "The Celluloid Campfire: Implicit Religion and Film" at the 31st Conference on Implicit Religion and Contemporary Spirituality May 9-11 at Denton Hall in Yorkshire, United Kingdom.
Michael Romeo, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior biology major, received an undergraduate research grant from ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.
¾¨Ó㴫ý is ranked third in social mobility among the nation's 253 top liberal arts colleges, according to the Washington Monthly 2009 College Guide.

Dr. William Evans, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professor of counselor education, will speak at Faires Faculty Forum Wednesday, April 14, at 11:40 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater of the McKelvey Campus Center.
