Theatre ¾¨Ó㴫ý presents its last production of the semester, "The Importance of Being Earnest," Thursday-Saturday, May 1-3, at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, May 4, at 2:30 p.m., at Beeghly Theater.
This witty comedy is a tale of love, deceit, mistaken identity, and food. The play tells of the antics of four young adults trying to find love in the oddest of circumstances, much to the dismay of the older -- and certainly not wiser -- other characters.

Megan McConnell, a 2006 ¾¨Ó㴫ý graduate and Pittsburgh Youth Pops Orchestra manager, spent 10 days in Austria and Germany with its members.

Evann Garrison, ¾¨Ó㴫ý lecturer of English, will present "Hester, Hillary, and Personal Politics" at the Bleasby Colloquium Thursday, March 27, at 7 p.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater of the McKelvey Campus Center. The event is free and open to the public.


The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Chamber Singers and Concert Choir will present "Stars I Shall Find" Sunday, Nov. 23, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.

Dr. Donald Kraybill, professor of sociology and religious studies and senior fellow at the Young Center for Anabaptist and Pietist Studies at Elizabethtown College, will speak Tuesday, Sept. 22, at 7:30 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel at ¾¨Ó㴫ý. The event is free and open to the public.

 As an Egyptian mummy I appear to be in the midst of some very invigorating experiences. Last December, S.J. Wolfe published her well-researched book, Mummies in Nineteenth Century America. My journey to America is noted and two photographs of me are shown. I must say, I look pretty good for a 2,300-year-old woman.
¾¨Ó㴫ý senior biology majors Brielle Kelly and Debra King presented posters at the Society for Neuroscience annual meeting Nov. 11-17 in San Diego.



¾¨Ó㴫ý will host the 72nd annual Pennsylvania Communication Association (PCA) convention Oct. 7-9.


¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty Dr. John Bonomo, associate professor of computer science, and Dr. David Offner, assistant professor of mathematics, co-authored a solution published in the April issue of Mathematics Magazine, a publication of the Mathematics Association of America.

¾¨Ó㴫ý will host the Council of Three Rivers American Indian Center Dancers Thursday, Feb. 21, at 7 p.m. in the Berlin Student Lounge of the McKelvey Campus Center. The event is free to the public.
