Cardboard boxes will provide shelter for several ¾¨Ó㴫ý students during the "Quad-a-Thon" Friday, Sept. 15.

Dr. Leslie Wilk Braksick, president and CEO of GLC, the world's leading provider of strategy execution and performance improvement consulting, will speak at ¾¨Ó㴫ý Thursday, April 24, at 11 a.m. in Phillips Lecture Hall of the Hoyt Science Resources Center.

The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Celebrity Series presents "Christmas in Vienna," featuring the Vienna Choir Boys, Tuesday, Dec. 19, at 8 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.

Dr. Carolyn Cuff, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professor of mathematics, recently attended an American Statistical Association conference in Salt Lake City.

Sheila Barnhart, a senior music performance major with piano concentration, will present her senior capstone recital Saturday, April 5, at 3 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

Tonospheres, a woodwind trio for flute, clarinet, and bassoon written by Dr. Daniel Perttu, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of music, was recently published by BRS Music, Inc., in Indianapolis.

"Market Efficiency and the Lead-Lag Relationship Between Futures and Spot Rates for the Australian Dollar," co-authored by Dr. Daniel Fischmar, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professor of economics and business, was published in the fall issue of Pennsylvania Economic Review.
Four ¾¨Ó㴫ý seniors presented their research at the American Chemical Society's (ACS) annual meeting March 20-26 in San Francisco.
Fourteen ¾¨Ó㴫ý students will study at off-campus locations including Ghana, France, Spain, Scotland, Ireland, England, and Costa Rica for the spring 2011 semester.

The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Celebrity Series will welcome The Golden Dragon Acrobats for a family show Wednesday, May 9, at 6:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
