Paul G. Wozniak, professor of accounting at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, is the featured speaker at the Northwestern Chapter Dinner and Networking Session of the Pennsylvania Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA) Thursday, Oct. 18, at the Iroquois Club in Conneaut Lake.

Dr. Ann L. Coble, assistant professor of Christian education and religion at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, has had her Ph.D. dissertation, Cotton Patch for the Kingdom, accepted for publication.
Six ¾¨Ó㴫ý students will present their senior capstone projects at the Bleasby Colloquium Thursday, April 24, at 7 p.m. in Russell Dining Hall.
"The English capstone project stands as the culmination of an English major's work at ¾¨Ó㴫ý," said David Swerdlow, associate professor of English. "Over a period of two semesters, each student moves through the challenging process of identifying, developing and creating a substantial work - both critical and creative in nature - on a subject that has engaged his or her intellect and imagination. Much of the project is created independently by the student, fostering the self-reliance that the department has set as one of its primary objectives for its students."
Three ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior broadcast communication majors recently presented their capstone projects.



Eight ¾¨Ó㴫ý faculty recently received promotions.


Dr. Sherri Pataki, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of psychology, received the Mary Walsh Roth Teaching the Psychology of Women Award for innovative teaching related to diversity. The award was presented by the American Psychological Association at its annual convention in San Francisco.





¾¨Ó㴫ý students in broadcast communications instructor Bradley Weaver's class will present their capstone project over the next few weeks.
¾¨Ó㴫ý recently added 10 new full-time faculty members.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Chamber Singers and Concert Choir will present "Gloria in Excelsis Deo" Sunday, April 25, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The concert is free and open to the public.




¾¨Ó㴫ý music faculty are involved in a variety of winter activities.
