The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Concert Choir and Chamber Singers have returned home from a successful performance tour of Southern California.
Under the direction of Dr. Robin A. Lind, the 38-member choir performed concerts at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church in Santa Barbara, Good Shepherd Presbyterian Church is Los Alamitos, Faith Presbyterian Church in San Diego, and ¾¨Ó㴫ý Presbyterian Church in Escondido.

Dr. Matthew Sivils, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of English, recently presented a paper at the Eastern Association of Pennsylvania State Universities conference on "Literature, Writing, and the Natural World."

¾¨Ó㴫ý will host Marc Brown, author and illustrator of the Arthur children's book series, for a presentation Wednesday, Oct. 10, at 7 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
¾¨Ó㴫ý's Language in Motion program will host 160 high school students from the Wilmington Area and Beaver Area school districts for the second annual Foreign Language, Interdisciplinary Day April 22.


Krista Birnbaum, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of art, will have several of her prints in the "Unlimited Edition" exhibit at the Arlington (Va.) Arts Center Dec. 12-Jan. 17.

Dr. Kristin Park, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of sociology, is quoted extensively as a researcher and appears as a research subject in the recently published Two is Enough: A Couple's Guide to Living Childless by Choice by writer and filmmaker Laura S. Scott.
Five ¾¨Ó㴫ý music majors will present an "Organ Spectacular" Monday, May 3, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.

¾¨Ó㴫ý will host fiber artist Mary Lou Alexander for a gallery talk Wednesday, Feb. 16, at 7 p.m. in the Patterson Hall Art Gallery. The presentation is free and open to the public.

The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Men's Chorus and Women's Chorus will present their fall concert Sunday, Nov. 6, at 3 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.
Thirteen ¾¨Ó㴫ý students were awarded master of education degrees at Commencement exercises May 19.
