The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning awarded an undergraduate research grant to Barry Unis, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior psychology major.

Dr. R. Tad Greig, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of music and director of bands, recently assisted in the production of a Wind Ensemble CD.

Two ¾¨Ó㴫ý alumni--Kelly Varlotta Horn and E. Richard Ogrodowski--will present Distinguished Alumni lectures Friday, Oct. 9.

Thirteen ¾¨Ó㴫ý students presented their research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) April 15-17 at the University of Montana in Missoula.




On Feb. 4-5, 22 outdoor enthusiasts came to the Field Station and learned how to take care of accidents that happen in the outdoors when away from comforts and hospitals.
¾¨Ó㴫ý senior biology major Bryan Yost received an undergraduate research grant from ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.

¾¨Ó㴫ý will host an old-fashioned Independence Day celebration with a free concert and fireworks Tuesday, July 3, at 7:30 p.m. at Brittain Lake.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Dr. Daniel Perttu, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of music theory and composition, recently had his "Toccata for Piano Duo" performed at three universities in Ohio during February.


NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - ¾¨Ó㴫ý will present the Flute and Clarinet Duo Recital at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, March 6, in Orr Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Lifelong Learning Program is offering several yoga classes to the public April 26-May 27.
Beginner Yoga, which is scheduled Mondays from 6-7 p.m., is designed to introduce basic yoga postures, to strengthen lower back, abdominal muscles, legs and upper body.
Yogilates, which is scheduled Wednesdays from 6-7 p.m., is a combination of Pilates and Yoga that enhances core strength, balance, and flexibility.
Power Vinasa Yoga, which is scheduled Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6-7 p.m., is comprised of vigorous flowing sequences of yoga postures, ending with a deep relaxation, creating a state of consciousness that deepens inner awareness.
