¾¨Ó㴫ý begins the new academic year of weekly Faculty Forums Wednesday, Sept. 5, in 311 Patterson Hall at 11:30 a.m.
¾¨Ó㴫ý Celebrity Series is hosting the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra, Friday, Feb. 7, at 8 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
Twenty-four ¾¨Ó㴫ý students traveled to Hawaii in January to complete their biology course in geology and ecology.
"The whole experience was unbelievable and not what I expected," said Corry Yeuroukis, a senior biology major from Pittsburgh. "We saw slides and took notes in class, but this trip&well, we saw what we learned about in class. You never get to see what you learned in an English or math class like that."

Dr. Amy Camardese, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professor of education, was recently selected as co-chair of the 2006 Notable Social Studies Trade Books for Young People.
¾¨Ó㴫ý admissions staff will be visiting local high schools the week of Oct. 1.

Douglas Rab, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior music major, will present his senior capstone recital Sunday, April 20, at 4 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The event is free and open to the public.

¾¨Ó㴫ý's Concert Choir will sing at a variety of locations in North Carolina and Florida on their annual tour, Jan. 7-17, 2009.
¾¨Ó㴫ý senior chemistry major Kimberly Worst received an Undergraduate Research Grant from ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.

¾¨Ó㴫ý Students in Free Enterprise (SIFE) participated in the SIFE Northeastern Regional Competition March 26 in New York City.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Orchestra will present a concert Thursday, March 3, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The concert is free and open to the public.
