Thirty-seven ¾¨Ó㴫ý students will be inducted in the Omicron Delta Kappa, a national honor society, Sunday, Feb. 3, at 1:30 p.m. in Wallace Memorial Chapel.
"Omicron Delta Kappa recognizes and encourages superior scholarship, leadership, and exemplary character," said Dr. G. Samuel Lightner IV, professor of physics and advisor of the group.

Dr. Kang-Yup Na, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of religion, writes a monthly column for the award-winning magazine "Presbyterian Today," which is a national magazine for the Presbyterian Church (USA).
Tamara Scherer, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý sophomore psychology-human resources major, recently received the Eugene and Nell Petrucci Fund No. 2 Scholarship.
Four teams of ¾¨Ó㴫ý students participated in the 11th annual East Central Colleges Undergraduate Mathematics Competition April 5 at Muskingum College in New Concord, Ohio.

Leslie Danos, a ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior environmental science major, recently presented her capstone research, "Assessing the Cause of Elevated Zinc Levels Being Discharged into the Shenango River from an Industrial Source."

Gloamin, a composition for flute and piano written by Dr. Daniel Perttu, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of music theory and composition, was performed Oct. 9 at the Society of Composers' Region V conference at Clarke College in Dubuque, Iowa.

Dr. R. Tad Greig, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of music and director of bands, was selected to participate in the Boulder Conducting Symposium at the University of Colorado in June.
¾¨Ó㴫ý's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning and the Lawrence County Community Action Partnership will sponsor the fifth annual poverty simulation Wednesday, March 2, in the Witherspoon Rooms of the McKelvey Campus Center.
¾¨Ó㴫ý students Hannah Anderson and Allison Rice received undergraduate research grants from ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Alyssa Ludwiczak has joined ¾¨Ó㴫ý as Communication Specialist. She replaces Sandra Chandler, who retired after serving ¾¨Ó㴫ý since 1998 in the Communication Services office.
