A holiday tradition continues at ¾¨Ó㴫ý with the annual Christmas Vesper service Sunday, Dec. 7, at 7 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.


Seven ¾¨Ó㴫ý senior environmental science majors will present research findings on reducing unwanted metals in Pennsylvania'a streams Monday, May 7, at 7 p.m. in the Hoyt Science Resources Center, room 166.

Dr. Bryan Rennie, associate professor of religion and philosophy at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, recently was a keynote speaker at the 60th Annual Conference of the Korean Association for the History of Religious (KAHR) at the Hanshin University in Seoul, Korea.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Symphonic Band will perform a concert Friday, March 21, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
This 70-member ensemble is comprised of students from all majors.

Mardi Gras is coming to ¾¨Ó㴫ý Friday, Feb. 16, from 6-8:30 p.m. in the Witherspoon Rooms in the McKelvey Campus Center.

Environmental policy expert Dr. Michael Maniates will speak about "The Power of Sacrifice in an Ecologically Full World" at ¾¨Ó㴫ý Monday, Oct. 29, at 7:30 p.m. in the Witherspoon Room of the McKelvey Campus Center.

Katie Hilliard, a senior individual interdisciplinary major, received the ¾¨Ó㴫ý 2008 Audio Visual Award for exceptional work to the campus and community.
Six ¾¨Ó㴫ý students received travel/presentation grants from ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning to present papers at Susquehanna University's Department of English and Creative Writing Undergraduate Conference Feb. 15-16.

The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Women's Chorus and Women's Chamber Ensemble will participate in "Celebrating Women's College Choirs" Sunday, Nov. 15, at 3 p.m. in Bellefield Hall Auditorium at the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Keith Corso, ¾¨Ó㴫ý instructor of communication studies, successfully defended his dissertation to earn a Ph.D. from Capella University in Minneapolis and was promoted to assistant professor.
