¾¨Ó㴫ý's Celebrity Series will feature one of Broadway's finest entertainers, Brian Stokes Mitchell, at 8 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 10, in Orr Auditorium.

¾¨Ó㴫ý hosted a workshop on translation studies and ¾¨Ó㴫ý's undergraduate humanities curriculum June 2-6.

Dr. Michael Aleprete, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of political science, was a member of the "Regions, Borders, and Democracy" panel at the 50th annual meeting of the International Studies Association Feb. 15 in New York City.
Joyce Hoellein, ¾¨Ó㴫ý lecturer of education, and elementary education majors from her "Teaching Mathematics in the Elementary School" class attended the annual Pennsylvania Council for Teachers of Mathematics conference Nov. 5 in Pittsburgh.
¾¨Ó㴫ý's Celebrity Series will open its 2010-2011 season with the Oak Ridge Boys Saturday, Sept. 18, at 7:30 p.m. in Orr Auditorium. The show is sponsored by Springfield Restaurant Group.

Twenty-five ¾¨Ó㴫ý students presented their research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) March 31-April 2 at Ithaca (N.Y.) College.

The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Department of Music will host prospective students for the second "Music Major for a Day" program Monday and Tuesday, Jan. 23 and 24.


NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Dr. James Rhoads, professor of political science, served as Conference Host for the International Society for the Scientific Study of Subjectivity 28th Annual Meeting Sept. 5-8 in Pittsburgh, and Dr. Timothy Cuff, associate professor of history, delivered the keynote address.
