Joyce Hoellein, ¾¨Ó㴫ý lecturer of education, and elementary education majors from her "Teaching Mathematics in the Elementary School" class attended the annual Pennsylvania Council for Teachers of Mathematics conference Nov. 5 in Pittsburgh.
Hoellein served on a panel to moderate pre-service teacher presentations at the conference.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý students attended several workshops and a special pre-service teacher day for students from a variety of colleges and universities.
Hoellein, who has been with ¾¨Ó㴫ý since 1994, earned an undergraduate degree from West Virginia Wesleyan College and a master's from Edinboro University.
