Nationally syndicated radio talk show host Bill Press will deliver the keynote speech at ¾¨Ó㴫ý's 18th Mock Convention Nov. 7 at 7 p.m. in Orr Auditorium.
Six ¾¨Ó㴫ý students will study at off-campus locations ranging from Pittsburgh to France, Scotland, and Costa Rica for the fall 2008 semester.

Three ¾¨Ó㴫ý students received travel/presentation grants from ¾¨Ó㴫ý's Drinko Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning to present their research at the National Conference on Undergraduate Research (NCUR) April 16-18 in LaCrosse, Wis.Ìý

Dr. Amy Camardese, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of education, and Dr. Susan Parker, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of education, accompanied 11 elementary education/special education dual certification students to the Pennsylvania State Council for Exceptional Children meeting Nov. 4-5 in Harrisburg.

Dr. David Goldberg, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of philosophy, presented a paper at the International Symposium of the Olympic Center of Philosophy and Culture July 25-29 in Olympia, Greece.
The ¾¨Ó㴫ý Student Alumni Association (SAA) sponsored Connections in English and Public Relations Speed Networking April 5.Ìý The event was open to all students, regardless of major.
Fifty-four ¾¨Ó㴫ý students met the requirements for graduation in December.
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - ¾¨Ó㴫ý will celebrate the opening of its first all-Mac computer lab with a ribbon-cutting ceremony Tuesday, Sept. 25, at 4 p.m. in Thompson-Clark Hall, room 205. The ceremony will be followed by an open house for students, faculty and staff until 4:45 p.m.
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Six ¾¨Ó㴫ý sociology and sociology/criminal justice majors and minors were inducted into the International Sociology Honorary Society Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD) on April 23.


¾¨Ó㴫ý will host "Landscapes and Abstractions," an exhibition of sumi ink and oil paintings and mixed media collage by local artist Thomas McNickle, Aug. 25-Oct. 10 in the Foster Art Gallery in Patterson Hall.
