NEW WILMINGTON, Pa-The following student has been added to the Spring 2006 Dean's List at ¾¨Ó㴫ý.
Josh Sarchet, a freshman music education and music performance major at ¾¨Ó㴫ý, recently received the Dave Bragdon Scholarship Fund.

Dr. Matthew Sivils, ¾¨Ó㴫ý assistant professor of English, had his article "Reading Trees in Southern Literature" published in The Southern Quarterly.
¾¨Ó㴫ý's Office of Diversity Services will sponsor the third annual International Festival Wednesday, Dec. 5, in the McKelvey Campus Center.
¾¨Ó㴫ý recently added nine new full-time faculty members.


When 20 fifth- and sixth-graders decide to make connections, they really do that. Sunday afternoon, March 15, was the time for the Mercer Elementary Creek Connections club to visit the Field Station for hands-on experiences with nature.



Three ¾¨Ó㴫ý mathematics students participated in the 70th annual Putnam Examination held Dec. 5 on campus.
¾¨Ó㴫ý is ranked 15th in the nation of the "Most Service-Minded Schools," according to the 2010 Newsweek college rankings.

¾¨Ó㴫ý senior biochemistry major Timothy Lynn and Dr. Helen Boylan, ¾¨Ó㴫ý associate professor of chemistry, gave presentations at the 25th annual American Chemical Society Student Members Symposium April 16 at Duquesne University.

Dr. Charlene Klassen Endrizzi, ¾¨Ó㴫ý professor of education, gave an invited presentation at the National Council of Teachers of English conference Nov. 17-20 in Chicago.
